Football Manager fans are being invited to participate in a record-breaking attempt in which they will all contribute to the one save file.

Sports Interactive and the UK's National Football Museum have a unique world record in mind; they hope to set the record for the "Most Contributions to a Save File on a Videogame."

The plan is to get 100 managers to take charge of the mighty Kingsmeadow over the course of 100 days with each picking up where their predecessor left off. The end goal is to get Kingsmeadow to the top of the league in Touch mode on one save.

You can book a ticket to the event on Eventbrite, but you will be expected to be available from 12pm until 1pm from February 12th. The event will be held at Manchester's National Football Museum, so you may also have to be able to compose yourself while being heckled by aspiring managers in the audience.

We expect this to go disastrously. But at the end of it all, one manager will be featured as a player in Football Manager 2017, while everyone else will get their hands on a copy of Football Manager 2016.
