Fallout 4 is still big on Steam
Fallout 4 is still pulling down huge numbers on the Steam PC platform, with millions of sessions underway since launch
Fallout 4 was a pretty huge game launch, with developers Bethesda saying they've already shipped 12 million copies around the world.
That's not an accurate look at sales but it does suggest a huge demand for the title, spread across major platforms PS4 and Xbox One. And the game is also huge on PC, at least according to the stats on popular service Steam. The game is still the second most played title on Steam, just behind the incredibly popular Dota 2.
More than a quarter of a million players are still online at once in this game world, with Fallout 4 breaking records by notching up 360,000 sessions during its midnight launch window on the 11th of November. It's easily the higest non-Valve game on the service, well above the likes of GTA V and ARK Survival Evolved. And of course this doesn't count the many PC players who aren't using Steam.
In other Fallout 4 news, there's a very cool secret hidden in the game. A phone number on a poster near the start of your trawl through the Commonwealth can actually be dialed in real life. The number is 1-888-4-VAULT-TEC and here's what happens when you call.
