Dark Souls board game Kickstarter raises almost €600000 in a day
Steamforged Games launched the Kickstarter for the Dark Souls board game. It not only hit its goal, but unlocked every stretch goal too.
The Kickstarter for the Dark Souls board game went live yesterday and has already raised almost €600,000.
Not only has the Kickstarter campaign hit its pledge goal, but it hit every stretch goal in a matter of hours. Steamforged Games has since added a mystery stretch goal, which looks likely to be hit very shortly.
The Dark Souls board game caters for 1-4 players who choose from a variety of classes before exploring typically dangerous locations packed with monsters, treasures, and boss encounters. The developer says that the board game has been designed specifically for the Dark Souls universe and that it “delivers an experience that captures the very essence of the original video games.”
You can see how the game works in the video below.
Purchasing a copy of the Dark Souls board game via Kickstarter will set you back around €100 and delivery is expected in April 2017.
