Three Ireland has apologised after a "power issue" saw their services stopped work intermittently throughout the day, leaving customers unable to make calls, send texts or use data.
The mobile service provider said that the problems customers were facing accessing call, message and internet functions on their service was due to a power issue at one of their data centres.
Frustrated Three users took to social media today to say that they were unable to make calls and texts and could not access customer care support.
Three Ireland has apologised and said they are attempting to resolve the issues.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware that some customers are currently experiencing intermittent access to voice, SMS and data services.
"The cause has been identified as a power issue at one of our data centres. We have engineers working to resolve this ASAP. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
