Nexus 9 Price: €390 Rating: ****
I'm generally a fan of Nexus phones and tablets - they're nicely designed, uncluttered gadgets that are really usually keenly priced compared to rivals. They're made by different manufacturers but presented as Google devices under the company's own Nexus brand. For me though, price is a key thing for Nexus: if this nine-inch model was €100 cheaper, I'd have no hesitation in saying it was one of the two standout tablets on the market (the other being the iPad Air 2). For €400, though, it's no more than a solid, decent machine. To be fair, it is the first tablet to have Android Lollipop, which I really like. And the build quality is excellent, although it's a little heavier and fatter than the iPad. Also, it comes with a sensible 32GB of storage and has a screen that's very bright and clear. In short, I really like this device. But €400 gets you an iPad Air. And that's still a slightly superior product.
