Alien: Isolation has secured six nominations for the British Academy Games Awards, meaning it leads the way in the battle to be cream of the crop in the gaming industry.

The title has been nominated in key categories including best game, game design, and game innovation.

The Bafta nominations also include recognition for Kevin Spacey, who has been nominated for voicing Jonathan Irons in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Spacey got the role after his character in political drama House of Cards was regularly seen playing Call of Duty.

Other games to be recognised include Far Cry 4 And Monument Valley, which have five nominations, while Mario Kart 8 is one of four titles to be nominated in four categories.

The awards will take place in London on March 12 and will be hosted by Rufus Hound.
