Irish tech firm NVMdurance has appointed Kevin Kilbuck as Chief Marketing Officer.

The company specialises in developing flash memory devices for machine learning. Mr Kilbuck takes up the role having previously worked for at Micron and NAND Flash Marketing. He also spent a 12-year stint at Toshiba America.

“Kevin has 30 years of technical and product marketing experience in the semiconductor memory industry,” said Pearse Coyle, NVMdurance CEO.

“He has deep knowledge of the memory and storage market and is well regarded in the community. As we begin to scale up, he is a great addition to our executive team,” Mr Coyle added.

NVM produces flash technology for manufacturers that are trying to quickly begin high-volume manufacturing of new technologies.

“I am very pleased to be joining the NVMdurance executive team at this exciting time,” Mr Kilbuck said.

“We are at the tip of the iceberg of the flash disruption in storage, and NVMdurance is providing unique solutions to enable this,” he stated.

NVMdurance was founded in 2013 by Joe Sullivan and Conor Ryan. The company initially received funding from the National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) and has since secured major investment in the US.
