The personality of a Twitter user is relatively easy to establish from their posts - but what would be their backing soundtrack?

'Soundtrack of your Life' allows anyone on the social media platform to translate their favourite emojis, phrases and images into music.

Created by Mastercard, working with StyleTech, the quirky tool has been launched to celebrate its 20 years as headline sponsor of The BRIT Awards.

Nicola Grant, Head of Marketing and Communications, UK and Ireland at Mastercard said that the group's relationship with The BRIT Awards "has always been about helping fans get closer to the music they love".

Twitter handles input into will produce a unique series of beats for every user.

Pulling from your tweets, obviously the more you post, the more advanced the soundtrack becomes.

Each post is assigned a bar of music after being graded on its sentimental tone on a scale from one to ten.

BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology student Daniel Lazenby has written and produced the music involved.

A variety of instruments has been drawn upon to represent the see-saw of emotions that Twitter users air on social media.

What is your soundtrack?
