Apple iPhone SE goes on sale in Ireland
Apple's new four-inch iPhone has gone on sale in Ireland on Apple's online store with a starting price of €499.
The SE, which has replaced the iPhone 5S in Apple's line-up and bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, and is due to arrive in stores today but there have been some reports of delays.
Apple unveiled the new phone, which bucks the trend of increasing screen sizes, at an event in California in March.
At the launch the company pointed out that it sold 30 million four-inch devices last year alone.
The new iPhone SE will come with an A9 processing chip, making it as fast as the iPhone 6S and double the speed of the iPhone 5S.
The phone starts at €499 for the entry-level 16GB version and goes up to €599 for the 64GB version.
