Apple and Microsoft call Christmas truce in a heart-warming Harlem Children's Choir debut
Some in adland are hailing it the Christmas truce of the year.
But Microsoft and Apple are calling for peace this Christmas in a heart-warming rendition of "Let there be peace on earth".
Microsoft employees, along with a Harlem children's choir, descended on Apple's store on New York's 5th Avenue for the recording.
It was created by Microsoft's agency, McCann's M:United.
Kathleen Hall, corporate VP-global advertising at Microsoft, said that because of security issues, Microsoft had to get permission from Apple to perform the song outside the store.
