Redwind are the kings of Quiz apps, and this Christmas special builds on their excellent Movie Challenge app. Players have to light up the trees in Christmas village by answering questions. Each Christmas tree has a number of light bulbs, with each light bulb holding a question. There are a variety of quiz games, such as hang man and true or false, all based on popular Christmas movies.

5. Goodnight Mo - Story Toys

3D pop-up books are what Irish company Story Toys are best known for, and Goodnight Mo is a great example. The story comes complete with interactions and games and is great for entertaining younger children who want to play with the grown-up toys. (Trailer video above)
