Munster's rugby victory twice as sweet for Sponsor for a Day winners Irish Yogurts

Munster's resounding rugby success over the weekend was twice the delight for dairy business Irish Yogurts, as their logo was proudly worn on the home side's jerseys.

The yogurt maker, based in Clonakilty in West Cork, won the Bank of Ireland Sponsor for a Day competition last year, which was held in association with Independent.ie.

More than 100 different retailer own-label yogurts are produced in Irish Yogurts for the major outlets in Ireland. In 2013 Irish Yogurts grew its retail opportunities by going into the European market, supplying products to Spain, Sweden and Finland.

The company is now in the process of building a new state of the art factory which will be completed by the end of the year.

More than 1,000 businesses in Munster entered the Sponsor of a Day competition. They beat of competition from Truly Irish, Glenmar Shellfish, The Little Milk Company and Pinnacle Homes to take the coveted prize.
