Pure Telecom has won best broadband provider at the bonkers.ie National Consumer Awards 2018.

Now in its second year, the awards celebrate excellence in customer value and service across a range of categories including the broadband sector.

Among those on the experienced judging panel was Bobby Kerr, broadcaster and businessman, and Lucy Campbell, marketing director of RTÉ Digital.

Last year Pure Telecom announced a €1.8m investment in the creation of 32 new jobs, while it also agreed a €35m infrastructure deal with open eir in 2017.

"Winning Best Broadband is a massive achievement and it’s wonderful to receive recognition for the hard work done by each and every member of the Pure Telecom team," Paul Connell, CEO of Pure Telecom, said.

"It remains our aim to reach 100,000 residential customers by 2019 and as we grow, it is crucial to us to continue to make our service a wow factor for our customers."
