We won't get to grips with future needs until pension culture changes

Never has so much been asked of one policy instrument. After a quarter of a century, it looks like auto-enrolment will finally be introduced in Ireland. Hailed by Heather Humphreys as a “once in a generation policy”, it has worked well in other countries, but we now need it to be the panacea for a growing number of ills in this country.
