Prints by the international pop artist Andy Warhol, as well as a signed drawing by the Spanish surreal artist Joan Miro, are some of the works of art that will come under the hammer at Dublin's RDS on May 28.

The auction, which is being run by Whyte's, includes paintings by well-known international and Irish artists such as Paul Henry, Jack B Yeats, Sir John Lavery, Gerard Dillon, William Scott and Louis leBrocquy.

Turf Stacks with Mountain Beyond, a Paul Henry oil painting which captures a mountain scene in the west of Ireland, has a guide of between €15,000 and €20,000, and a Pauline Bewick watercolour of Wyndhams Theatre is guiding at between €5,000 and €7,000.

Although many of the Warhol prints have asking prices of between €3,000 and €5,000, a sought-after canvas by the artist is estimated to fetch between €40,000 and €50,000. You can view works in advance of the sale in the RDS from 10am-6pm from May 24 to May 26.
