€9.5m apartments now on sale for €295,000

IRELAND'S cheapest apartments just got cheaper.

A development of 47 luxury flats had been on the market priced at €11,800 each.

But, estate agents acting on behalf of the liquidator put them on sale again -- this time at €6,275 per unit.

In fact, the whole development in Ballybofey in Co Donegal, once valued at €9.5m, can now be bought for just €295,000.

The apartment block at Navenny in the town comprises apartments ranging in size from 63sqm to 108sqm.

The estate agent selling the apartments, Dermot Rainey of Sherry FitzGerald Rainey, says the entire apartment block must be bought as one item.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for a group of four or five people to come together and buy these apartments for the €295,000," he said.

"They can let them sit for five to ten years and not do anything with them. They can then either sell it on or complete them," he added.
