MOTORISTS can expect a fall in petrol and diesel prices of between 8c to 10c per litre over the next three weeks.
The drop comes as the price of Brent crude oil, which dictates European prices, has fallen to $90 today from $109 earlier in the month.
AA Ireland said there is a four week lag between a change in prices and the cost at the pumps.
The euro crisis has made the euro weaker against the dollar making fuel more expensive.
The AA's price watch survey shows petrol prices have fallen from 165.9c in May to 162.9c in June.
It shows diesel has dropped from 157.5c to 153.6c, in the same period.
