Gambling group Paddy Power has increased its footprint in Ireland after buying nine shops from Hackett’s.

The acquisition expands the number of outlets Paddy Power has in the Republic of Ireland to 232.

The shops bought by Paddy Power are located in Limerick, Dublin, Clonmel, Templemore and Tullamore.

They’ll all be rebranded under the Paddy Power name.

The deal is expected to close early in the new year.
