Reporting to the Group Online Editor, the Audience & Insights Editor will be responsible for the provision of real-time analytical support to the editorial team to help reach traffic and audience targets.

The preferred candidate will be an expert in analytics with a keen interest in editorial content. Experience in an editorial environment is a bonus.

Using a number of analytics tools, the Audience & Insights Editor will be tasked with daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc traffic and data reports and make recommendations on audience segmentation and thought leadership opportunities based on these reports.

This Editor will work as part of the digital editorial team, the audience development team from an editorial perspective and any other team as necessary to fulfill the duties of the role.

Candidates must have experience in online data and traffic measurement and analysis. They must have experience with Google Analytics and have an understanding of web, mobile, video analytics and data collection processes.

Experience in an editorial environment would be an advantage for any potential candidate, and experience with an online publisher is preferred.
