UTV Media reports revenue growth in third quarter despite pressures
UTV Media has reported revenue growth in the third quarter despite ongoing pressures in the market.
The group's third quarter revenue improved marginally to £28.2m, the company said in a trading statement.
UTV, which has announced plans for a new Irish TV station and the creation of 100 new jobs, reported a 15pc increase in third quarter revenues in the Irish market.
The media company also said radio revenues were up 5pc in the three months to end September on the back of an improving market conditions.
In local currency terms, UTV's Irish radio revenues were down 2pc, it said in a trading statement.
"After the very difficult trading conditions of the first six months, it is good to be able to report that the group has moved into year on year revenue growth in H2," UTV media said.
