The career inspiration you need this Christmas
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The evenings are crisp, the pubs are cosy and the streets are lined with twinkly lights and enthusiastic shoppers
But it can also be a difficult time of year, of reflection, comparison and longing.
In the context of our careers, we’re often left wondering if we’ve achieved enough, if we’re making enough money and if we’re really happy in our roles. As the year draws to a close, we ask ourselves if we’ve really made any progress in the previous one.
While it can be good to evaluate our goals and objectives, it’s never good to feel inadequate or unaccomplished. It’s never good to stop believing in your own abilities.
Belief is something we speak of a lot at this time of year - whether it’s belief in Santa or that we’ll be fully fledged health gurus come January. But belief is something that shouldn’t just apply to Christmas.
This year we were inspired by some very wise children to start believing again. They spoke about their future careers with a confidence that will make you rethink your own career ambition and challenge any perceived limitations. Believe great things are coming in 2019.
