Acumen Aviation appoints Donal Lowry as head of asset management

Acumen Aviation has appointed Donal Lowry as its head of asset management.

Mr Lowry brings over 40 years of experience to the Irish-headquartered aircraft asset management company.

In a statement today, Acumen Aviation said that Mr Lowry had the necessary ability and experience to advise and help shape its asset management ambition and ensure further growth opportunities for the company.

Prior to joining Acumen, Mr Lowry held senior positions with a number of blue chip leasing companies including ELIX, Aviation Capital, DAE Capital and ORIX Aviation.

The trained aircraft engineer also spent a number of years with Aer Lingus in various roles including head of airworthiness & technical policy and head of maintenance.

He has also held the position of chairman of the Dublin Branch of the Royal Aeronautical Society.

Established in 2009, Acumen has offices in India, China, and the United States.

Its management company has over 300 years of cumulative experience, with a permanent staff of over 70 people.
