50 employers from Accenture to Peter Mark offering hundreds of jobs at Intreo jobs fair

OVER 2,700 have pre-registered to attend the Intreo jobs fair in Dublin today and hundreds of jobs are on offer.

The event, which takes place from 10 to 4pm in the Printworks of Dublin City Castle, provides jobseekers with the opportunity to meet with the many employers who are looking to offer opportunities in a wide range of jobs.

"Dublin Bus have 100 jobs alone,” said a spokesperson for the Department of Social Protection.

Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton, T.D. has encouraged jobseekers to attend the fair.

“The Intreo Careers Fair is an employer-led event that highlights vacancies and facilitates jobseekers in attaining expert career advice" said Minister Joan Burton.

“Visitors to the event will be able to see for themselves the opportunities available from 50 organisations and companies’ attending including jobs, educational courses, advice on careers and personal development. There is something for everyone at the Intreo Careers Fair,” she said.

Exhibitors include Accenture, Irish Hotels Federation, State Street, Dublin Bus, Peter Mark, the Musgrave Group, Xetec and Allergan with opportunities for financial specialists, drivers, sales and retail assistants, IT developers, construction workers, hairdressers and many roles in hospitality.

Attendees will also be able to avail of one-to-one coaching from HR experts as well as attending seminars to support their job seeking activities.

The Intreo Careers Fair is one of over 160 events taking place during the Department’s annual National Jobs Week.
