WILLIAM Fry has promoted Stephen Keogh to be the law firm's new head of corporate and M&A (mergers and acquisitions).
Mr Keogh is a 20-year veteran of the firm, who led William Fry's London office from 2012 to 2017.
He is a specialist in corporate transactions, particularly in the private equity and technology sectors, acting for both investors and companies.
Recent deals advised by Mr Keogh include CPL Resources' acquisition of RIG Medical; AA's sale of AA Ireland to Carlyle Cardinal; the Polaris Partners investment in Novaerus; and Cultivian Sandbox's investment in Nuritas.
William Fry also announced it has hired two new Dublin partners: Ailbhe Dennehy and Ian Murray.
Ms Dennehy is a specialist in advising companies on change management.
She was previously part of A&L Goodbody's employment law team, advising Irish and international clients on often contentious industrial relations cases.
Before that, she worked as a solicitor at McCann Fitzgerald for 10 years and also for Bank of Ireland.
At William Fry, she will become a partner in employment and benefits.
Mr Murray returns to William Fry following a spell at US financial firm SCOR Global Life, where he helped the company to establish an Irish-authorised reinsurance operation in Dublin.
He will become a partner in William Fry's insurance and reinsurance department. He previously spent 13 years in the firm's corporate department.
