It's another busy corporate week, with listed insurer FBD kicking things off this morning with its full-year results.

Davy Stockbrokers has predicted that FBD will have achieved its target underwriting profit during the final quarter of 2016.

Primark owner Associated British Foods issues a trading update today, while tomorrow, Ireland's biggest hotel group, Dalata, issues full-year results.

On Wednesday, it's the turn of global building materials giant CRH, which also issues full-year results that day. Thursday sees Total Produce publish its full-year results. State-owned AIB also releases full-year results that day.

A raft of economic data also emerges this week. This morning, confidence indices for consumers, industry and services for the eurozone will be out.

Tomorrow, US President Donald Trump makes what will be a keenly analysed speech to Congress.

There will be some interesting indicators from the UK too this week. On Wednesday, the level of mortgage approvals made in January will be released. That and other UK data could give an indication on whether consumers have Brexit nerves.
