Week 38: Toland to unveil his first Aryzta results
Aryzta, the Dublin and Zurich-listed global food business, has full-year results due today - newly arrived CEO Kevin Toland's first with the company.
Toland, a former executive at Glanbia, served as head of the Dublin Airport Authority from 2012 before being announced for the top position at Aryzta in May.
That followed a bruising series of financial results and huge share falls for the company behind brands such as Cuisine de France and Shamrock Foods.
Along with financial results, analysts will be looking for reassurance from Toland and chairman Gary McGann on the outlook for the business and pointers to the course ahead.
Also today, the ECB's Mario Draghi is due at the ECON Hearing at the European Parliament in Brussels, a chance for MEPs to question the central bank boss.
Origin Enterprises has results on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the CSO is due to publish data on Wednesday on public spending on water supply and waste water treatment between 2000 and 2013, which is likely to further fuel the debate around Irish Water, including required investment and how to fund it.
