Results season is starting to wind down now but there's still plenty of juicy earnings reports due out this week.

Aryzta is due to release half-year results today - a must-watch as chief executive Kevin Toland tries to turn the business around. Shareholders will be hoping to hear more about Toland's deleveraging plans.

Tomorrow, Glenveagh Properties will present its inaugural annual results, while Applegreen will report full-year results too.

The CSO will publish statistics on house prices on Wednesday, while GDP figures will be out on Thursday. Statistics on planning permissions are due to be published on Friday - an interesting indicator of the state of house-building.

Outside Ireland, US inflation data will be a keenly watched statistic tomorrow.

Last month's stock market volatility was kicked off by strong jobs data which sparked expectations of faster inflation.

UK Chancellor Philip Hammond will give his spring statement with updated forecasts relating to the British economy tomorrow also. The speech is likely to have implications for the euro-sterling exchange rate.
