UCD's Smurfit School MBA has fallen six places in the FT's annual global ranking of MBA programmes.
The graduate business school's MBA programme was ranked 79th in the world for 2016, down from 73th in 2015. It was 24th in Europe. This is the 17th consecutive year that UCD Smurfit School has been included in the global top 100. It was the only Irish business school listed.
The rankings analyse graduates' career progress and employment success as well as the school and programme's quality and faculty research capabilities. Graduates surveyed from the UCD Smurfit MBA saw their salary increase by an average of 73pc to $107,185 (€99,264) three years after completing the Masters. "We are doing well but we are determined to do better; building on our existing strong foundations and through the continued focus on our strategy," said Dean Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh.
