Revenue at Irish fresh food company Total Produce dropped 1.4pc to €3.13bn last year, after what the firm's chairman said was "a mixed year for the fresh produce industry."
Like-for-like revenue dropped 2pc, and the company also posted an 8.1pc drop in pre-tax profit, which came in at €44.3m.
"The performance in the year was satisfactory in a mixed market when measured against a strong comparative period," the company said.
Chairman Carl McCann said the results were "robust" and that Total will continue to pursue acquisitions after a number of additions last year.
The company said the new acquisitions partially offset the sale of its stake in global fruit company Capespan.
