Tesco store to create 150 jobs

ONE hundred and fifty jobs were created yesterday with the opening of a new Tesco supermarket in Dublin.

The flagship store in Cabra is part of a two-year, €120m investment by the supermarket chain in Ireland.

In total, 755 new jobs will be created by June 2012.

Tesco's expansion plans are expected to lead to spin-off employment in the construction sector, generating an estimated 548 jobs.
