Site price drops from €2.7m to just €900k

At the peak of the economic boom a redevelopment site in Blackrock, Co Dublin, had been valued at around €2.7m . Now it is asking €900,000.

Located at Brookfield Terrace, just off Carysfort Avenue, the commercial warehouse and yard sits on a site of 0.6 acres.

The warehouse extends to 1,818sqm and is located at the southern end of Brookfield Terrace which is just a short walk from Blackrock village centre as well as Smurfit Business School and the local DART station.

Consequently the agent Lisney believes that it has potential for a mixed use residential and commercial development.

Meanwhile on a prime northside site receiver Simon Coyle of Mazars has received planning approval from Dublin City Council for a development of 17 terraced houses, a shop and four apartments on a site at 59-60, Clontarf Road, Dublin 3.
