Rugby fans face off in Bus Eireann competition
ALMOST 400 Facebook users are fighting it out in an online popularity contest to win rugby tickets from Bus Eireann.
The state bus carrier is offering 20 sets of tickets for the Ireland/Scotland match -- on Saturday, March 20 at Croke Park -- to whoever can get the most Facebook friends to vote for them.
So far, almost 400 contestants have thrown their hats into the ring and more than 3,600 votes have already been cast, according to Bus Eireann marketing boss Barry Coyle.
He is hoping that the contest will help to raise his company's online profile.
