Roscrea Centre's €5m redevelopment plan

Tiernan Properties, the landlord of Roscrea Town Centre, have secured planning permission for a €5m redevelopment of the centre's anchor store, formerly occupied by Tesco.

Having traded out of 1,858sqm for more than 20 years, Tesco have relocated to a larger unit developed by Tiernan Properties and linked by a plaza to Roscrea Town Centre.

The redevelopment involves the division and expansion of the former anchor store to provide for retail units at ground floor level ranging in size from 207sqm to 510sqm and a medical centre comprising 473sqm.at first floor level.

Lifestyle Sports, one of the current tenants will also benefit from an increase in the size of its premises from 189sqm. to 274sqm. Unit 1 of the redevelopment has been occupied by the discount store retailer Euro Giant.

Agents O'Neill Strategic Property Advice and Tiernan Properties are seeking enquiries for the remaining retail units These units will be of particular interest to fashion, pharmacy, optician, health food and electronics retailers looking to locate in the retail hub of Roscrea.

The medical centre positioned on the first floor of the redeveloped scheme is also available.
