Louis Fitzgerald (72) is synonymous with the Dublin pub scene. The Tipperary man and his family own some of the best known and busiest establishments in the city, including the Stag's Head, Kehoe's and the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Fitzgerald was on the acquisition trail during 2018, adding venues in west Dublin and eyeing up two well-known establishments in the city. Fitzgerald also leads a consortium that holds a minority stake in water treatment tech firm H20zone, which raised €3m in 2017. It signed a multimillion euro licensing deal with US water distribution giant Xylem in 2018 that could see it gain access to more than 150 countries.
