Former ISME chairman Eoghan Hynes (70) has moved from building supplies to music promotion in recent years after his family sold insulation business, Xtratherm. A Belgian subsidiary of American carpet company Mohawk Industries bought the insulation firm for about €100m in December of 2015. Hynes then set up Papa Entertainment, a US-based AIM-listed music publisher and rock promoter. It runs the hit Raiding the Rock Vault show that has been staged more than 1,000 times in Las Vegas, as well as the Raiding the Country Vault show. After-tax losses at Papa to the end of March 2018 were just under £1m (€1.12m) and turnover fell sharply to £1.5m (€1.68m). But the company said that the rate of sales was up 30pc.
