Anne Heraty

Anne Heraty (58) set up CPL back in 1989 before later becoming the first woman to head up an Irish plc. She and her husband Paul Carroll own 35pc of the business. They reduced their stake by around five percentage points since last year as the value of the company's shares dipped 7pc. Revenue at the group grew by 15pc to €522.7m in the year to June while profits jumped by 18pc to €18.5m. CPL's dividend increased to 13.5c per share and the business followed through on its plan to return €25m to shareholders.
