Denis Desmond (64) and Caroline Downey (56) own MCD, one of the largest music promoters in Ireland and the UK. Corkman Desmond, who exited fast food company Abrakebabra in 2015 following a refinancing deal, also has other investments. He runs the British and Irish operations of Live Nation and last year took control of Britain's iconic Isle of Wight music festival. Caroline found huge success as the manager of singer-songwriter Hozier. Their interests include the Gaiety and Olympia theatres in Dublin and the Limelight in Belfast. Previous earnings, asset sales and over €60m in dividends add to the pot.
