Dublin-born tech entrepreneur Berber was an early Irish success story in the tech sector. He turned Cybercorp into a vast online trading system, selling it to Charles Schwab for $488m in 2000. Now based in Texas, the Ferrari owner and Formula One fan and his wife have a long track record in social enterprise and charitable works. Since 2000, the couple has given $42m in donations and micro-loans in Ethiopia through their charity A Glimmer of Hope and a water charity also backed by Virgin businessman Richard Branson.
