Veteran Irish software entrepreneur Mee built up and floated Memory Computers in the 1980s. The Galwayman then set up AMT-Sybex in 1990, netting 94m when selling out to Capita for about 130m in 2014. His board had included former Tory minister William Hague and London mayoral candidate Stephen Norris. Recently he has backed Cork-based financial services firm Global Shares, with a 900,000 investment. The company hopes to float by 2020 when it expects to have a valuation of $100m.
