Tipperary-born Louis Fitzgerald and his family pocketed a 66.45m paper dividend from the 2014 restructuring of their family pub empire, by far the largest in the capital. Flagship Dublin hostelries the Stag's Head and Kehoe's, and the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel are among their best-known assets.

Following the restructuring, the main Fitzgerald company Ocsas recorded operating (pre-interest) profits of 4.47m in the 12 months ended June 2015.
