The McCann family dynasty has ended up on Dublin's most expensive residential address of Shrewsbury Road via Louth.

The family business is based on fruit, property and a blue-chip investment portfolio. They own a €54m stake in €430m-valued banana seller Fyffes, which has seen shares rise 36pc over the last year. There's also a €52m stake in fruit distributor Total Produce. Brothers David (57) and Carl (62) are at the head of the family, which has run Fyffes since the 1950s.
