Mayfair-based Kerryman O'Shea's (46) Comac Capital was ranked as the 21st largest hedge fund in the world by Forbes magazine in 2012.
He delivered stupendous returns in the crash by betting against the US markets. There were monster pay cheques including a €35m stipend in 2011. However, Comac gave its clients back their money after being hit by huge movements in the Swiss franc. It now manages $150m of the hedge fund executives' own cash.
