Sligo man Sean Ewing (50) may be living the dream.

He made his money in the 1990s when selling two financial services firms for €45m, before making a killing with a hedge fund. Since then he’s divided his time between the Gulf and sunny Spain, where he owns 60pc of Pinmar the luxury yacht painter. There are Brazilian, Spanish and Eastern European property assets and online interests through his Doyne Investments.
