Frank Fahy

Frank Fahy (62) was one of the few builders to have survived the crash.

His Shannon Homes company was one of the biggest builders in and around Lucan and Sandyford in the 1990s. The Meath-based builder has returned to the market, with Shannon Homes looking to build 270 upmarket homes in Portmarnock. Fahy’s Shannon Homes (Dublin) is sitting on a mountain of cash, with shareholders’ funds of €156m.
