RESTAURANT chain Nando’s has announced the creation of 100 new jobs.

The full and part-time positions include front-of-house and kitchen staff and will be based at two new restaurants in Dublin.

The new outlets at Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley will open next month. They will bring the chain’s total number of Irish restaurants to nine.

Nando’s employs more than 380 people in Ireland and has been operating here since 2008.

Announcing the new jobs, Alan Snyman managing director of Nando’s Ireland said: “The addition of 100 new full and part-time jobs demonstrates our commitment to Ireland and represents good news for Nando’s and the local communities we serve.”

He said most of the new roles have now been filled and recruiters have been impressed by the standard of applicants.
