Residential property prices up 1.6pc in October
Residential property prices were up 1.6pc in October.
The latest rise means that property values have increased by 7.6pc compared with a year ago.
Dublin prices were up 1pc, according to the Central Statistics Office.
Outside of Dublin residential property prices rose by 2.1pc in October.
Prices were up 10.7pc compared with October 2014.
Some commentators had expected prices to be down for last month due to the impact of lending restrictions imposed by the Central Bank.
At national level residential property prices were 33.5pc lower than their peak level in 2007.
