Rentalmatics, an Irish car-rental technology firm, is looking to raise up to $10m (€8.5m) after securing contracts in Australia and the US.

Last week Rentalmatics, which counts Openet founder Joe Hogan as chairman, secured its first contract in Australia after signing a three-year deal with Queensland-based East Coast Car Rentals as it launches its connected car platform there. The Irish company provides fleet-management solutions for the vehicle-rental industry, helping firms reduce operational and fuel costs associated with running a rental company.
