Recruitment industry to reward excellence
THE representative body for recruitment agencies in Ireland, The National Recruitment Federation, has announced details of its Recruitment Industry Awards 2011.
The application process will be launched on Monday, August 15, and will culminate in a gala awards ceremony on Friday, November 25, 2011 at The Shelbourne Hotel.
The only industry-specific awards ceremony of its kind, the initiative is designed to identify and reward excellence in recruitment in Ireland.
It is open to all NRF member agencies and will be judged by an independent panel comprising Tony Lambert, CEO Fingal Dublin Chamber of Commerce; Pat Meehan, CEO Invictus Management; Gillian Econopouly, head of policy for the Recruitment Employment Confederation UK, and the best online service category will be judged by Sorcha Corcoran of Silicon Republic.
This year's category line-up offers 14 award opportunities in the following categories: Best Agency Online Service, Recruitment Consultant of the Year, Best in Practice Healthcare, Best in Practice Accounting and Finance, Best in Practice Office and Secretarial, Best in Practice IT and Telecoms, Best in Practice Hotel and Catering, Best in Practice Light Industrial, Best in Practice Sales and Marketing, Best in Practice Technical Engineering and Science, NRF CertRP Student of the year, Best in a Specialism, Agency of the Year (small), Agency of the Year (large).
The closing date for receipt of entries will be Friday, October 14, at 5pm. The e-application forms will be issued to all members at the time of launch or will be available to download on www.nrf.ie.
