Prominent 16 acre Naas property asking €1.5m

The former Magna Donnelly factory property in Naas, Co Kildare, is being offered for sale with a €1.5m price tag.

Its site area extends to 15.84 acres with the buildings, associated car park and hard standing occupying about seven acres.

The buildings on the site extend to 5,630sqm and comprise former office, manufacturing and warehouse space.

The rear of the site is laid out in grass with a portion used as a soccer pitch.

Located immediately to the east of junction 9 of the N7 Naas Road close to the Globe sculpture, on the north side of Dublin Road, the property has extensive frontage along this road.

Nearby occupiers on Dublin Road include Storm Cinemas' multi-plex, The Maudlins House Hotel, Fitzpatricks Toyota dealership and Irish Commercials Volvo dealership.

Naas Racecourse is also closeby.

The factory, which used to manufacture car mirrors, ceased trading in 2007.

Straddling two local authorty areas, Naas Town Council and Kildare County Council, the property is zoned to encourage commercial development including Q Enterprise & Employment zoning under the Naas Town Council Development Plan 2011-2017. it also has NE10 zoning for Enterprise & Employment under the Kildare County Development Plan 2011 -- 2017.
