Title: Chairman of the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA).
Previous roles: Daly was a public interest director of Anglo Irish Bank in 2009.
In March 2008 Daly was appointed chairman of the Commission on Taxation which was set up to review the structure, efficiency of the Irish Taxation System and which reported in September 2009.
Daly retired as chairman of the Revenue Commissioners in March 2008 having been chairman since 2002.
Education: Dungarvan CBS, University College, Dublin and Dublin Institute of Technology.
He holds a BComm Degree and a Diploma in European Community Law.
In 2010 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Laws by the University of Limerick in recognition "of distinguished public service".
